Treehouse In an Enchanted Forest

This room was created for the ArtFull Living Designer Showhouse-a project that took place in Cold Spring, NY in 2012.

This room is an escape, a refuge....a fairy tale turned reality for a seven year old girl who doesn't quite fit in. With goldfish handles adorning her armoire and brass capping her tree-trunk bedposts, this design is intended to look as if she ran away from a life of luxury but brought some of the remnants with her.
